CPW (Commercial Processing Workload)

The IBM i capacity measure buyers will need before any claimed Power 12 performance comparison can be treated as real.

IBM publishes Commercial Processing Workload values for real Power models after configurations are defined. No Power 12 CPW value exists because IBM has not announced a system to measure. For planning today, compare published Power 11 CPW by model and workload, then reopen the decision only when IBM supplies an official next-generation value.
