IBM Power
The server family Power 12 would join if IBM announces it, distinct from the IBM i, AIX, and Linux operating systems that run on current models.
For Power 12 planning, IBM Power is the stable hardware family while model names, feature codes, performance, and support matrices remain unknown until IBM publishes them. Keep the hardware decision separate from the operating-system decision, and use current Power 11 documentation for anything that must be bought, sized, or supported today.
