Linux on Power
Linux workloads on IBM Power that need an official next-generation support matrix before Power 12 becomes a real migration choice.
For a future Power generation, Linux support cannot be assumed from processor direction alone. The useful planning record is the current distribution, kernel, firmware, virtualization, container, and vendor-support requirement. Keep that record current, then compare it with IBM and distribution support matrices if Power 12 is announced.
