Linux on Power

Linux distributions and OpenShift environments running on IBM Power servers, often beside IBM i or AIX partitions.

Linux on Power is the open-source workload side of IBM Power. Current Power systems support Linux distributions such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux and SUSE Linux Enterprise Server where the model, firmware, and distribution level line up. This is one reason Power 12 planning should not be reduced to IBM i alone.
